What you see here is the “Toyota Miraidon Project,” a collaboration between the Toyota Technical Society and The Pokémon Company, which aims to inspire children by turning imaginative concepts of future mobility into reality.
The “Toyota Miraidon Project” is a real-life, nearly life-sized, functional model of the Pokémon “Miraidon”. It can transform between “Drive Mode” aka motorcycle mode and “Quadruped Mode” aka quadripedal mode.
This project highlights the joy of creativity and the impact of imaginative ideas on technological advancements, with a public exhibition held from March 15-17, 2024, at the Tokyo Midtown Hibiya Atrium.
Nothing much. We just thought it looked super surreal. I mean seeing a real-life Miraidon is crazy. And no, it is not for sale.
