James Bond is synonymous with fast cars and, in recent years, SUVs. While motorcycles were often featured in Bond films, they were never the highlights… until now. Well, it is about damn time because even kids (with rich parents) can get their hands on 007 cobranded kiddie ride and it is only right that a person who had a thing for a two-wheeled vehicle gets a Bond cobranded motorcycle too.
That’s right, folks. There is not one, but two Bond edition motorcycles! Joining the Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition Motorcycle, which was sold out in a jiffy, is the Triumph Tiger 900 Bond Edition Motorcycle.
Inspired by the two-wheeler from the latest James Bond movie, No Time To Die, the Triumph Tiger 900 Bond Edition Motorcycle boasts a couple of visual cues that it is a Bond-themed ride and these include a prominent 007 logo on the sides and a classy, individually numbered, premium, billet-machine handlebar clamp. Also included with the motorcycle is a signed certificate of authenticity.
The collaboration is not just skin-deep, btw. This two-wheelers also touts other edition-specific features:
• 6 Riding Modes (Road, Rain, Sport, Rider Configurable, Off-Road and Off-Road Pro)
• 7-inch full-color TFT instruments with unique Bond startup screen
• Integrated GoPro control system, ’turn-by-turn’ navigation system with Google, music and phone operation
• Optimized cornering ABS and traction control
• Triumph Shift Assist up and down quickshifter
• All-LED lighting with DRL headlight (in applicable markets)
• Heated rider and pillion seats
• Heated handlebar grips with hand guards
The Triumph Tiger 900 Bond Edition Motorcycle is available to order with a starting price of US$20,100. Like the Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition, it has a limited run of just 250 units worldwide.
