James Bond. The fictional MI6 operative is known to be associated with many things. Things like Aston Martin, Omega watches, and Martini. But a motorcycle? Never. But there’s no stopping Triumph Motorcycles and EON Productions from wanting fans to get their hands on James Bond themed bike.
While motorcycles have been used in the many James Bond movies, we believe this is the first time an off screen collaboration between a motorcycle maker and the popular spy movie franchise to offer a “007” themed bike.
And the bike is the Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition. It’s a special edition Scrambler 1200 XE that, not surprisingly, sees neither mechanical or performance upgrades.
Instead, you get worthy of Bond style aesthetics inspired by the Scrambler 1200 custom stunt bike as featured in the new 2020 James Bond movie, No Time To Die.
Notable features include Sapphire Black fuel tank, black-out finishes, black anodized components, 007 branding, Arrow silencer with carbon fiber end caps, brushed decal foil knee pad with a hand-painted gold coachline, premium real leather seat with embroidered logo, high value engine gadgets with gold accents, and Bond TFT instrument start-up screen.
Each ride further features a unique billet riser clamp with laser-etched individual edition numbering, and comes with a certificate of authenticity hand-signed by Triumph’s CEO and a premium pack.
Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition costs US$18,500 and up, and it is limited to just 250 examples worldwide with only 30 units allotted to the U.S. It’s pricey, but never mind the sticker because, last checked, it looks like the Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition has already flew off the showroom.
