Gerber Prybrid Utility Pocket Knife

When it comes to functional everyday carry with the looks to boot, you can never go wrong with Gerber. The new Gerber Prybrid Utility further serves to strengthen our believe. Best of all, it is not just an EDC knife. It is a multi-tool. Something not quite common in the world of retractable knife.

Gerber Prybrid Utility pocket knife features 3 slide lock positions (close, open, and exchange for replacing blade) and more interesting, it has a passthrough slot in the frame that allows severing of cord, wires and the likes while keeping the blade in close position.

The G-10 handle has scales on it for superior grip and there’s a lanyard hole allows it to be hooked up to a keychain, a lanyard and similar.

If anyone’s counting, that’s two functions (knife and cord cutter) already. But it has more. Gerber Prybrid Utility is also a bottle opener, large flathead driver, wire stripper, nail puller, small flathead driver, and as its namesake suggests, a pry bar.

In addition to the Gerber Prybrid Utility, Gerber also has a smaller Prybrid, called Prybrid X.

Prybrid X has all most of the features as its slightly larger sibling, but it has a hobby blade knife and instead of a G-10 handle, it gets more regular (but no less sleek) handle with 550 cord wrap.
