Many creative minds have shown us that fidget toys can also be functional tools. These can range from a functional phone to a bottle opener, a screwdriver, and now even a measuring device that doubles as a Dungeons & Dragons dice, and more. This wondrous fidget toy is called NEO SPIN from Notion Builds.
NEO SPIN resembles a miniature flying saucer and consists of four parts. An interchangeable disc, machined from 304 stainless steel, is sandwiched between two brass cases. The case features a purposefully convex center for a secure hold, and each case has a large window for the readouts.
Meanwhile, the disc is equipped with a ball bearing for smooth spinning, and the edge is diamond-knurled for better grip, aiding in spinning and also serving as traction when used as a measuring tool.
It is super compact, measuring 40 mm (1.57 inches) in diameter and 10 mm (0.39 inches) thick, and weighs barely anything at 70 g/2.5 oz.
Each NEO SPIN comes with three discs, namely a measurement disc, a roulette/miscellaneous games disc, and a DnD disc. All discs are engraved on both sides.
For the measurement disc, one side is in metric and the other is in imperial units. The DnD disc is engraved with D4, D6, and D8 on one side, and D10, D12, and D20 on the flip side.
Finally, the roulette/games disc features a roulette wheel on one side and a decision maker, mystery disc, and PNT 6 on the other. There is an optional custom disc that can be engraved with names, messages, or wishes.
