Peugeot Boxer 4x4 Concept

If you think last year’s Peugeot Rifter 4×4 Concept was way too small for an off-road adventure vehicle, this year’s follow up, the Peugeot Boxer 4×4 Concept, should please you cos’ it is huge. It has more real estate and headroom and it should cos’ it is, after all, a freaking van.

As the product name suggests, Peugeot basically turned the popular Boxer Combi (AKA Expert Combi in the U.K.) into an off-road adventure vehicle. Peugeot Boxer 4×4 Concept is destined for exploration across all types of terrain – thanks to the DANGEL all-wheel drive, special tires and the obvious higher ground clearance.

In addition, BRAVIA MOBIL has tricked out its 10 square-meter (108 square-foot) real estate with creature comfort for up to 3 people. Completing the package is a Peugeot eM02 FS Powertube electric mountain bike as well as a Canadian canoe on the roof rack. Yes. Even a canoe! Yeah, it not only the last beaten mile covered, but also rivers too.

The Peugeot Boxer 4×4 Concept made its debut at the Recreation Vehicle Show in Le Bourget, which ran from September 28 to October 06.
