Chinese Rally Championship-themed movie Pegasus 3 (飞驰人生 3, or literally Speeding Life) is coming in big. In addition to premiering in China’s theaters on the first day of the Chinese New Year, it also has merch lined up for fans. That’s right. CaDA is just the start. The movie has also partnered with small-scale remote-control toy maker Turbo Racing RC to release a 1/76-scale version of the star rally car, the Audi A3 Rally car.
It is an officially licensed, 1:1 recreation of the movie car, but in 1/76 scale. It’s tiny, but it is not lacking in detail, including the racing liveries right down to the sponsor logos and the crew identification decals, as seen in the film. We do not see Audi onboard as far as merchandise goes. But it does look like the German marque is fully on board with the film, as we noted that the protagonist’s racing suit rocks the famous four-ring logo.
Anyhoo, as details go, this is a rear-wheel-drive RC toy car that boasts working headlights and taillights, chassis lights, working front suspension, a 55 mAh battery good for up to 30 minutes of playtime on a single charge, and a Type-C charging port. It may be tiny, but it is a proper radio-controlled, toy-grade RC car featuring a full-fledged RC chassis—just in a very small scale—with proportional steering and proportional throttle.
It is a ready-to-run set that includes the RC car and a pistol-grip transmitter with knobs, buttons, and sliders for on-the-fly tuning. The controller features a textured rubber grip and a sports-rim steering wheel.
That’s not the end. This gift set also comes with two additional plain white shells for customization, a set of four translucent chassis-light elements, a battery cradle that supports a 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion cell to replace the controller’s AAA battery cradle, a Type-A to C charging cable, a Type-C to C charging cable, and an alloy screwdriver.
The Turbo Racing RC 1/76 C78 Pegasus 3 RC Car will launch on Chinese New Year’s Day (February 17, 2026), alongside the movie’s theatrical release in China, for 438 yuan [JP] (about US$63).
