When the postponed from 2020’s UEFA Euro 2020 kicked off in early June, it featured a very special ball carrier in addition to the chosen boys and girls. The tiny Volkswagen all-electric ID.4 you see here was part of the ball carrier team.
Lovingly nicknamed “Tiny Football Car,” this remotely controlled, miniature version of Volkswagen‘s EV brought the match ball to the center-circle shortly before the kick-off of the opening game between Italy and Turkey at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.
Like, how cool is that? I mean its pretty surreal to see a tiny replica of the VW EV carrying a ball. If the referee wasn’t in the picture, we may have thought it was just a photo of the ID.4.
