Volonaut Airbike Flying Motorcycle

We’ve seen plenty of so-called “hoverbikes” over the years. And they all seem to have one thing in common: a bunch of exposed rotors spinning like they’re auditioning for a haircut commercial. They’re “futur” without the “istic.” Not quite the Speeder bike from Star Wars, but it could be—if Volonaut has its way.

Volonaut is a Polish startup led by inventor Tomasz Patan, the same guy behind the Swedish Polish VTOL Jetson ONE. And on May 1st, he dropped jaws by unveiling the Airbike. If it performs anything like it does in the demo video, this could be the closest we’ve come to a real-life Speeder bike.

The video has wowed believers and invited skeptics alike. In it, a rider is seen gliding through a forest and skimming valleys with no cockpit, no visible rotors—just straight-up “how-is-this-even-possible” energy. Repulsorlift tech? Not quite, but it sure looks like it.

Volonaut hasn’t spilled the full tech tea, but according to a report, it’s powered by jet propulsion and uses a flight computer to handle hovering and flight stability. It’s a VTOL, reaches speeds of up to 124 mph (200 km/h), and has landing skids to keep it grounded when it’s not busy defying gravity.

If it’s legit—and yeah, I’m skeptical too—this might be the first true flying bike. One that doesn’t surround you with death blades. Now that’s futuristic.

UPDATE: Jetson ONE is Polish too. Thank you, Tomasz, for reaching out and letting us know! 🥰
