Bugatti is not just the name for super fast supercar nor is it merely about ridiculously expensive automobile. World’s First: Bugatti 3-D Printed Titanium Brake Caliper

Being a Bugatti component, this thing here is, not surprisingly, huge, boasting eight eight-piston which also makes it the world’s first brake caliper turned out by 3-D printer and the biggest brake caliper in the auto world. Moreover, Bugatti became the first series manufacturer to use this exquisite material. But Bugatti isn’t in it alone; the world’s first: 3-D printed titanium brake caliper is the result of a collaboration between Bugatti Development Department and Laser Zentrum Nord in Hamburg.

Now that Bugatti achieved a 3-D printed titanium brake caliper, it will continue to build on this technology and trial 3-D printed components in series production in 2018. Bugatti, being part of VW Group, you can expect this technology to be found in other VW Group’s brands in future.
