1950s Bowling Arcade Ambient Light | US$na | www.etsy.com
it has been a while since we have a serious browse-through at the Etsy store and it had to be a sold out item. we know it sucks and pointless to feature this item here but how can we resist spreading words of awesome stuff? the 1950s Bowling Arcade Ambient Light definitely deserves some mention, sold or not. this super cool handing lamp, dubbed the Bowling Arcade Ambient Light 1950’s by its maker Renegade Vintage, is upcycled from 1950s bowling by Renegade Vintage and instead of the orignal bulbs, a pair of brand new 8W 13″ (1 feet or 33cm) T5 fluorescents are used with the light dispersion through clear vintage marbles as well as the mechanism slots, giving it a warm ambience that mimics the glow and color that it probably had during its heyday. this should most definitely put a wide smile on the face of any individualists, style connoisseurs, vintage lovers and bowling fanatics. we are suckers for beautiful vintage objects that are repurposed into other uses and it is obvious that this one isn’t an exception. it certainly beats Ikea lamps anytime of the day or best any vintage lamps you will find in your local flea market. as for the price, we guess there’s no point brooding over it cos’ it looks this is the one and only ever and it was sold on the 7th. we are not surprised, good things always get snapped up as fast as a super car gets from standstill to 62 mph. we love to have it ourselves too but reality bites. however, a few more larger views of this awesome hanging lamp is a bit of a consolation which you can find below.
