Ever wanted to own an actual armored presidential limousine that isn’t a 1:43 scale model? Well, you’re in luck because there’s one going on the block! Meet the 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Presidential Limousine, a car so exclusive it makes VIP parking look pedestrian.
This black beauty, one of three built for President Bill Clinton, is the only one to have escaped the clutches of the CIA. Its two siblings are locked away—one in the Clinton Museum, and the other likely under more surveillance than your smartphone. With a mere 626 miles (just over 1,000 km) on the odometer, this limo is barely broken in, making it the ultimate time capsule on wheels.
Under the hood is a hand-built 454 CI V-8 engine by Jack Roush, ensuring it doesn’t just protect—it performs. Speaking of protection, the roof is raised by 3 inches (7.6 cm) to make room for dignity, and its 3-inch (7.6 cm) thick bulletproof glass and B6-standard blast-proofing ensure that not even bad vibes can penetrate.
At 270 inches (6.86 m) long with a 167.5-inch (4.25 m) wheelbase, this limousine is part tank, part rolling fortress. It comes equipped with run-flat tires, a public address system (for those impromptu speeches), an onboard oxygen system, and even a fire suppression system—because why settle for just bulletproof when you can be flameproof too?
If you’re still not convinced, perhaps the fluorescent halogen lighting system and American flag mounts on the fenders will seal the deal. Signal emergency lights and a telephone are also included, just in case you need to pull over and declare your love for democracy.
All this history—and luxury—can be yours when it crosses the block at Kissimmee 2025 on January 18. As for the Price? It depends on how many richie rich raise their hands. But it is worth noting that the car costs $6 million to build.
