When you see a 0-60 sprint of 3.45 seconds. You probably imagine a sleek, slow-slung, exotic supercar, or a Tesla. You are not wrong, but the automobile that makes that blistering 3.45 seconds here is a pickup truck.
The truck is the 2020 Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150. I know. It’s crazy. Like, do you need such a quick pickup truck? Probably not. Then again. Why the hell not?
2020 Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 is indeed a super truck – but only if you pick up the supercharged model.
If do that, you can expect a fire-breathing 770 ponies from its Supercharged V8 motor, along with an entire list of upgrades across various departments – from the drivetrain to the handling to both the interior and exterior.
It’s absolutely bonkers. Even the looks emanates power, a lot of power. 2020 Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 was based on entry level trim Ford F-150 which has 290 horses. That’s 2.5 folds of pure raw power, courtesy of Shelby.
All’s said and done, it is a ride that only true pickup truck enthusiasts with a certain level of financial muscle would be able to afford.
The 770 HP Supercharged Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 commands a starting price of a grand $93,385. For $7K-ish less, you get the 385 HP naturally aspirated variety. The choice is obvious.
The Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 was originally a concept, but it has since went into limited production.
Only 250 units of the 2020 model year trucks are allotted to North America (Canada and U.SA.). With that said, I am doubtful if it any is left. But you can go ahead and ask your local Ford dealers. For overseas customers, a limited number will be made available through select Shelby mod shops and distributors worldwide.
