2025 Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar

Remember the jaw-dropping Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar that once graced our roads with its outlandish design and F1-inspired engineering? Well, it’s back — and this time it’s ditching traffic lights for track lights. Aston Martin has revealed that the Valkyrie is taking on the big leagues at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and other endurance racing championships in 2025.

This is no mere Sunday drive for the ultra-luxury brand. The Valkyrie, now race-tuned by Aston Martin Performance Technologies, will compete as the only hypercar in the race world derived from a road-legal monster. Powered by a state-of-the-art, lean-burning 6.5-liter V12 engine, it promises to be both a green machine and a beast that roars at 11,000 rpm.

Fans of the original Valkyrie might recall its superhero-level specs. But this version? It’s fitter, faster, and ready for battle. With more than 15,000 km of testing under its (carbon-fiber) belt, the racing Valkyrie now boasts quick-change body panels and a pneumatic jack system — because every millisecond counts when you’re battling for glory at Le Mans.

The driver lineup is just as impressive. Triple FIA GT World Champion Marco Sørensen and British rising star Tom Gamble will steer this green terror, with the Heart of Racing team providing expertise that matches the car’s heart-stopping speed.

In true Thor-like fashion, Aston Martin even named its racing team THOR (The Heart of Racing). Whether it can wield victory like Mjölnir remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure — this Valkyrie is destined for a saga worthy of Asgard.
