When you think of Goodwood Festival of Speed, you think of roaring combustion engines echoing through the Sussex countryside. This year, though, it was the sound of silence—well, silence with a V8 growl sneaking in—because the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray has finally made its UK debut.

Yes, folks, the hybrid Corvette has officially crossed the pond, and no, it isn’t some eco-minded science project; this is the quickest production Corvette you can now order in right-hand drive.
The E-Ray is Chevy’s first-ever electrified, all-wheel-drive Corvette, which kind of makes it America’s polite way of saying “we can do hybrid speed machines too.” If you’ve read our earlier feature on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, you already know this thing is no Prius.
Under the skin, it’s rocking a 6.2L LT2 V8 pushing 482 horsepower (354 kW) and 613 Nm (452 lb-ft) of torque to the rear wheels, with an electric motor tossing in an extra 161 horses (119 kW) and 165 Nm at the front. Together, that’s 643 horsepower (473 kW) and a GM-estimated 0–100 km/h sprint in 2.9 seconds. Cue British jaw drops.

And it isn’t just about numbers. The E-Ray’s eAWD brain constantly shuffles power to the front wheels for grip, whether you’re carving a damp B-road or climbing the Hill at Goodwood. It even has a Stealth Mode that lets you sneak out of your driveway in silence at up to 71 km/h before the V8 wakes up your neighbors.
Inside, you get fighter-jet vibes with a Head-Up Display, data recorder, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and, if you’re fancy, a 14-speaker Bose system. Outside, it’s pure wide-bodied menace, complete with 20/21-inch wheels, carbon options, and more color choices than a London taxi fleet.
The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray is available to order now in the UK from £153,440 for the Coupe and £159,230 for the Convertible, with deliveries starting in September 2025.
