Chuwi AeroBook Pro 15.6-inch Laptop

As much as some hated Apple products, you gotta admit that it has influenced aesthetics never seen before in its competitions. The Chuwi AeroBook Pro 15.6-inch Laptop is one such competition that excels in the look department while remaining crazy affordable. There’s a catch, though. More on that in a bit.

Granted, the Chuwi AeroBook Pro here isn’t a macOS device (very obviously), but hey, when you are on a budget and wanted a laptop that looks good, the Chuwi AeroBook Pro 15.6-inch Laptop might be the answer.

Key notable of this new kid in the overcrowded laptop market is its 15.6-inch 4K display (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) that packed 282 ppi and offers 100% sRGB, 10-bit color depth, eye-watering 1.7 billion colors and 340 nits of brightness.

Chuwi is marketing it as a video post production workhorse. Sounds enticing enough. But here’s the thing… the Chuwi AeroBook Pro 15.6-inch Laptop may costs sub-$600; the processor is an Intel 6th-generation Core, aka Skylake, which is a fairly old chip first launched in 2015. So, there’s a trade off here.
