This is it. It has been a year since Marvel dropped the last Black Widow trailer and now, we have a new one that revealed even more. Those anal about spoilers, as always, do look away.
Technically, this is the third trailer if you include 2019’s teaser trailer. For those who aren’t following, Marvel Studios’ Black Widow is a spin-off from Avengers with Scarlett Johansson reprising the titular role.
Here’s the brief of what the movie is about:
“In Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger”
Translation: explosions, car chases, punches and kicks, and more explosions. In between, expect some emotional struggles and you know, stuff of that nature, typical of big screen Romanoff.
The movie also starts Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff.
Marvel Studios’ Black Widow will hit the theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on July 9, 2021.
