You have seen a phone with integrated TWS earbuds, a smartwatch with TWS earbuds, and now meet a laptop that also has a pair of TWS earbuds. Coming from China laptop maker METAPHYUNI is a laptop called Xiake that touts a pair of TWS earbuds.
Featuring a built-in genuine wireless Bluetooth earphone and intuitive touch controls, this laptop addresses the hassle of misplaced or drained earphones. Collaborating with BOE, it showcases innovative BIM full-screen technology, boasting a narrow bezel and a borderless display. With an anodized metal body and intricate cultural motifs, such as seal engraving and Tai Chi Bagua patterns, this laptop exudes a blend of modernity and tradition.
The display is a 120 Hz refresh rate 2.5K resolution display. Though, I don’t believe anything was said about the screen size. However, we do know that it has a “golden ratio” of 16:10, a 100% sRGB high color gamut for vivid, true-to-life colors, and a hardware-level low blue light design. Furthermore, the screen is protected by Corning tempered glass with a fingerprint-resistant coating.
Under the hood, it houses Intel’s 13th-gen Core i7-13700H/i5-13500H processors, backed by a robust Intel Xe integrated GPU. It embraces LPDDR5 high-speed memory and a 1TB PCIe4.0 SSD, ensuring seamless multitasking and ample file storage. The laptop’s connectivity is extensive, including USB4, USB Type-C, USB 3.2, USB 2.0, HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio jack, eliminating the need for additional docks while on the go.
Moreover, it boasts a keyboard with exclusive Chinese character printing, showcasing its cultural flair. The inclusion of a 100W Gallium Nitride PD adapter facilitates convenient charging. Its 4-speaker surround sound system elevates audio experiences, ideal for immersive entertainment. Equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and a fingerprint recognition power button, it ensures secure connectivity and data safety.
It is not clear when Xiake will hit the market and for how much.
