Bull Airs Yancy Street Stompers

Ben Grimm was never pleased that he became the rocky “monster” in Fantastic Four. So I bet he is not going to be amused by people trying to look like him—even if it is just the feet. What feet, you asked? Well, Bull Airs—the parody masters—just dropped two pairs of kicks inspired by Thing, so you can stroll down the street looking exactly like, well… Thing.

Obviously, Bull Airs cannot reference which character due to copyright matters—Bull Airs only refers to them as “comic book inspired”—but we all know where the inspiration is from. The Yancy Street Stompers, as it is called, are offered as a pair of boots and a pair of slides.

The slides go for US$150, the boots stomp in at US$450, and both are made from comfy closed-cell resin foam—lightweight, durable, and ready for your next comic-con… or grocery run. They’re real, not a prank, and they’re only available via a Kickstarter-style campaign running through May 7.

Bull Airs is aiming for US$50,000 in sales to go into production. If they pass that, backers unlock goodies like a signed collector’s box and even a blue tracksuit worthy of a Fantastic reboot.

The feet may be fake, but the fandom is very real.
