Folks. My prediction came true. Optimus Prime has joined the strange, strange world of Masters of the Universe and Transformers crossover. The He-Man Optimus Prime is not alone; he is joined by Scare Glow, who looks pretty insane cosplaying as Starscream. Folks, meet the Masters of the Universe x Transformers Optimus Prime Armor He-Man Action Figure and the Masters of the Universe x Transformers Starscream Armor Scare Glow Action Figure.

Yes, Mattel has taken two of the most iconic toy lines of the ’80s and smashed them together into something nobody asked for but everybody secretly wanted. The result: He-Man rocking Optimus Prime’s helmet, visor, and enough accessories to make Megatron sweat. The figure stands 5.5 inches (about 14 cm) tall in Origins scale, rocking 16 points of articulation, modular body parts for swap-and-share action, and comes packaged with a mini-comic to explain how the hell this crossover even makes sense. Accessories include a shield, axe, and, of course, the Power Sword.
But the chaos doesn’t stop there. Scare Glow, the evil ghost warrior who already glows in the dark like a rave skeleton, now has Starscream’s armor. That means a crown, a removable cape, and twin wing blasters strapped to his spectral frame. Also in Origins scale at 5.5 inches with 16 points of articulation, this bony menace arrives with his own mini-comic, ready to extend the crossover madness.
Both figures come in display-ready window box packaging and are priced at US$33 each.
