Rolls-Royce Black Badge Cameo
Forget die-cast models. The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Cameo is a magnetic desk sculpture crafted from aluminum, European oak, and leather that brings the spirit of Black Badge to your office.

You know you’ve made it in life when a die-cast model no longer cuts it. Enter the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Cameo, a desk ornament so ridiculously posh that calling it a “toy car” would probably offend everyone at Goodwood.

Inspired by the marque’s Black Badge lineup, the Cameo is less a scale model and more an artistic interpretation of a Rolls-Royce. The body and chassis are separate pieces held together magnetically, allowing you to “assemble” the car before placing it proudly on your desk. It is the closest you’ll get to building a Rolls-Royce without spending years learning coachbuilding.

The materials are exactly what you’d expect from Rolls-Royce. There is dark chrome-plated aluminum, black-stained European oak, and even Mandarin leather. The self-leveling wheel caps are present too, because apparently even a desk sculpture deserves wheel centers that refuse to look upside down—just like its life-size counterparts. The chassis also carries an engraved Black Badge wordmark, while the whole thing arrives in a proper presentation box worthy of the Spirit of Ecstasy.

The funniest part? Rolls-Royce doesn’t even call it a model car. It calls it a “Cameo,” which somehow makes complete sense once you see it. It is more sculpture than scale model, and certainly more conversation starter than paperweight.

No, it won’t whisk you to a five-star hotel or glide you silently down the boulevard. But it will sit on your desk looking fabulously expensive while reminding everyone that even Rolls-Royce’s idea of a desk ornament is crafted from wood, leather, aluminum… and just a tiny bit of automotive snobbery.

So how much for this exquisite collectible? Well, it’s “Price on Request”, but are you really surprised? However, I heard it costs 60,000 yuan (!?) in China. So, I’d say it is about 8-10K. I could be wrong.
