The Batmobile has carried Batman, Robin, an alarming quantity of crime-fighting equipment, and probably several cans of Bat-Shark Repellent. Now, thanks to Cinemark, it can carry popcorn too.
Created for Batman Day 2026, the LED Batmobile Popcorn Container is modeled after the glorious black-and-red ride from the 1966 Batman television series. The top opens to reveal an extra-large popcorn compartment, which may be the least technologically advanced feature ever installed in the Batmobile.
Its real party trick is a built-in LED that projects the Bat-Signal onto nearby surfaces. That should prove useful whenever Gotham needs saving, or you drop popcorn beneath the cinema seat.
The container includes an XL popcorn and a free same-day refill. It is coming soon to select Cinemark theaters while supplies last, presumably around Batman Day on September 19. Cinemark has yet to reveal the exact release date or price.
Crime may not pay, but collectible popcorn containers certainly know how to empty a wallet. We anticipate this to be snapped up pretty fast, so if you want one, then perhaps it’s wise not to take chances.
