regardless of whether you are a huge The Rolling Stones fan, or simply an avid guitar enthusiast (well, more like collector), chances are you are going to love the ABKCO x Fender Rolling Stones Beggars Banquet Guitar. this limited edition Telecaster guitar is a collaborative effort by ABKCO Music & Records and Fender to mark ABKCO’s recent release of the “Clearly Classic” edition of three classic Rolling Stones albums on clear vinyl, of which includes the album with the controversial cover of its time, Beggars Banquet (1968). the cover depicts a graffiti-defaced bathroom, which, get this, was “deemed too controversial for domestic consumption in the U.S.“(!?) and so, it is no surprise that this is the cover of choice for adorning this celebratory, full-featured Fender Telecaster. while the front is decorated with the Beggars Banquet cover, the back of the guitar features the gatefold feast artwork, along with a laser-etched neck plate.

with the Beggars Banquet Telecaster guitar, it also marks the first time where artwork is printed directly onto the guitar’s body and pickguard. limited to just 300 packages, sold exclusively through Amazon, each package includes a copy of the Beggars Banquet clear vinyl LP (with the original cover, naturally) produced from the original masters, a Fender guitar wall hanger, a gig-bag and a special shipping box printed with, again, the Beggars Banquet cover art. the ABKCO x Fender Rolling Stones Beggars Banquet Guitar is available as we speak for $649.99. as always, if you want one, you better act fast, cos’ 300 packages isn’t a big number – especially when it has three big names in it. also, see the Beggars Banquet Telecaster in action in the embedded video after a small gallery below.
