the first thing we looked for when read the PR text for the New Trent Airbender Mini Rugged Keyboard Case for iPad mini is the price – simply because it is probably the only ruggedized case that comes with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard, and man, are we in for a surprised, well, in a good way. it cost just $39.90. yes; that’s for a rubberized exterior case to guard against unfortunate drops and along with seals that keep open ports plugged, sealing the device against water splashes. note: it is not submersible, but still, if its good enough to sustain some sudden downpour, it is good enough for us.

the case and the keyboard are physically connected via an aluminum kickstand on the case itself which also doubles as a kickstand for the iPad mini when not attached to the Bluetooth keyboard. when the two are clicked together, it sort of transforms your iPad mini into a ruggedized mini laptop which sounds pretty awesome. the aluminum kickstand is 360 degrees rotatable, thus affording you both landscape and portrait viewing angles for watching movies, doing FaceTime or whatever. though, extremely affordable as far as functionality is concerned, the Airbender Mini Rugged Keyboard Case for iPad mini not built specifically to any IP standards. just thought you should be aware of this. scroll down for a few more look and a product intro video.
