Ever wish there was an alternate ending to the original Alien? Not going to lie. It is a strange wish, but it will be granted soon as played out by you and your friends with the Alien: Fate of the Nostromo board game from Ravensburger.

Alien Fate of the Nostromo Board Game

This upcoming board game is described as “a collaborative, strategy-based, thriller board game” that up to five people can participate. Each player assume one of the five characters, Dallas, Ripley, Lambert, Brett, and Parker. The board replicates the layout of the ground zero: the famous spaceship Nostromo.

Here’s the game will play out as per io9:

“Using those, they’ll complete assigned objectives using a certain amount of actions per turn. Eventually, when each player completes their objective (while hopefully avoiding the killer alien running around), everyone teams up for one ultimate final mission, which will decide the fate of the Nostromo.”

Basically, how it will end may not like in the movie. If you are not a big fan of Alien, then perhaps the notion of playing out the plot with a different result may not appeal to you.

However, if you are, Alien: Fate of the Nostromo Board Game could as serve to rejuvenate the classic sci-fi horror movie in you.
