along with the pretty VivoMouse, the Taiwanese computer maker also announced the ASUS VivoPC Home Theater PC, a smallish desktop computer that can also double as a Home Theater PC. the VivoPC is just 56mm tall and has a footprint smaller than that of an A4-size paper, and shares the same spun metal finish as the VivoMouse. there are not much hard specs to go around, except it is designed for both home productivity and entertainment uses with features such as ASUS SonicMaster audio technology and 802.11ac WiFi for HD video streaming. expandability is also one of the touted feature: the PC has a sliding case cover for quick access to a pair of internal memory slots and a lone drive bay for a 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA 6Gbit/s hard drive.
information such as processor, RAM and internal storage – if they are even included – are not available at this moment (for all you know, it could be a barebone system). however, we should be hearing more about this over the next few days as the COMPUTEX Taipei progresses. another look after the break.
