Audio-Technica’s First True Wireless Earbuds

The last we heard was Pioneer and today, Audio-Technica also surprises us with not one, but two pairs of true wireless earbuds. If you know Audio-Technica, you know they are fond of spitting out technical jargon which, I am not going to lie, sometimes I find I hardly know anything. Anyways, in order not to mislead you, here are the exact words straight from the maker:

“The ATH-CKR7TW’s specially tuned 11 mm drivers feature a diamond-like carbon coated diaphragm that combines light weight with rigidity for faster response time and reduced distortion. In addition, machined brass stabilizers reduce unwanted resonances and ensure linear diaphragm movement, and a stainless steel acoustic mesh resistor provides improved high-frequency response. Driver performance is further enhanced by isolating the acoustic and electronic components from each other to allow optimum airflow from the drivers.”

Both the earbuds and the case each takes around 2 hours to charge from zero to full. Audio-Technica Sound Reality ATH-CKR7TW True Wireless In-Ear Headphones will arrive this fall for $249 (SRP).
