LEGO and Hasbro aren’t the only ones having a field day thanks to Star Wars Celebration. Japanese audiophile brand Audio-Technica clearly wants in on the galactic action too. So, it took its pride and joy—the ATH-CKS50TW2 true wireless earbuds—and gave them the full Star Wars treatment.
Not one, not two, not three, but four Star Wars-themed colorways are on offer, each inspired by an iconic character. First up, The Mandalorian edition—decked out in the bounty hunter’s signature metallic silver and gray armor. Naturally, there’s also a Grogu version. It comes in smoke green and light brown, though disappointingly (and understandably), it does not feature tiny Grogu ears on each bud. Would’ve been cool. Completely impractical, but cool.
Traveling back in the timeline, Darth Vader makes an appearance with a glossy black and metallic silver pair—perfect for brooding in the shadows of a Death Star. And rounding out the lineup? No, it’s not Luke Skywalker. It’s his overworked, underappreciated savior: R2-D2. The little astromech lends his white-and-blue color scheme to a set that’s arguably done more heavy lifting than most Jedi.
