Do like music and good sound? Do you like beautiful designs? And do you have 800 dollars to spare? If the answers to those questions are yeses, then you are in for treat. Bang & Olufsen has just released a new “flagship” headphones that sound good, look good (very good), and has top notch craftsmanship.

Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95 Adaptive ANC Headphones

Meet the new Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95 Adaptive ANC Headphones. This piece of luxury tech is culmination of design, tech and luxury. Damn. I find myself repeating “luxury”. Because it really is.

H95 is an over-ear headphone features memory foam ear cups wrapped in soft lambskin, brushed aluminum frame, and a revamped headband boasting top-grain cowhide, custom-knitted textile, and soft padded memory foam.

It truly is luxury (there, I did it again). It is no doubt a beautiful pair of cans. But really, what makes it stands out is the innovative interface that combines both touch control and mechanical dials, inspired by focus rings on the lenses of high-end cameras.

The other star feature would be the active noise cancellation. The passive noise reduction from the lambskin earpieces is complemented the most advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) of any B&O headphone. And the ANC here is both adjustable and adaptive.

Audio duties are delivered by 40 mm titanium drivers with neodymium magnets mounted in ported enclosures and Bang & Olufsen-developed proprietary digital signal processing (DSP).

Other highlights include rotating and tilting earpieces, beam forming and advanced noise reduction technology for clear speech, user-adjustable transparency mode to hear environment without removing the headphones, and built-in rechargeable battery offers up to 38 hours of playtime per charge without ANC.

All these for the said princely sum of 800 dollars and in a choice of Black and Grey Mist. It will be available online, in select retailers and in Bang & Olufsen stores, starting September 10. Reservation is already on-going if anyone’s interested.
