Nike has slapped its famous Swoosh on just about everything, from sneakers and apparel to sports equipment to even smartwatch bands. But a pair of Beats earbuds? That’s new. For the first time, Nike and Beats have joined forces on a piece of hardware, and the result is the Powerbeats Pro 2 – Nike Special Edition. And yes, the Swoosh has actually displaced the iconic Beats “b” logo on one of the earbuds.

Following the debut of the base Powerbeats Pro 2, this special edition sports a striking Black and Volt color scheme with Nike’s Swoosh on the right earbud and the Beats logo on the left. The charging case gets a matte-black finish with Volt-colored speckles, while opening the lid reveals Nike’s familiar “JUST DO IT” slogan. In case you need a little motivation before your workout.
Underneath the Nike makeover, these are still the familiar Powerbeats Pro 2, complete with adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), Transparency mode, built-in heart rate monitoring, and integration with the Nike Run Club app and Apple’s Fitness app.
They also feature secure-fit earhooks, IPX4 sweat and water resistance, and up to 45 hours of battery life with the charging case.
To celebrate the collaboration, Beats enlisted LeBron James for a rather amusing campaign titled Keep Your Head in the Game. Instead of dominating the basketball court, James takes his questionable golfing skills onto the green, where professional golfer Tom Kim and a few other familiar faces are less than impressed. Thankfully, he has noise cancellation to deal with the criticism.
Launched on March 20, 2026, the Powerbeats Pro 2 – Nike Special Edition is available through Apple for US$249.99.
