For a person with a thing for the color orange, this new timepiece from French luxury watchmaker, Bell & Ross, had my attention at hello. Limited to just 250 pieces, the new Bell & Ross BR-03-92 DIVER ORANGE will certainly not go unnoticed – even by plankton if they could see colors (or even see at all), thanks to its striking dial color.
For the design of the DIVER ORANGE, Bell & Ross drew inspiration from professional diving field, presenting dive watch with a 42 mm satin-finished and polished steel case, a unidirectional rotating steel bezel with 60-minute scale and black anodized aluminum, an eye-catching orange dial, appliqué metal indices with SuperLumiNova inserts, metal skeletonized SuperLumiNova-filled hands and rounding with the brand’s iconic square case to.
The result is a decidedly retro yet contemporary dive watch. We dig it. The watch is powered by calibre BR-CAl.302 automatic mechanical movement that offers hours, minutes, seconds and date functions. I almost didn’t see the date function as the date window is also in orange.
The watch is outfitted with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and is water resistant to 300 meters (984 feet). Each pair comes with a woven black rubber and an ultra-resilient orange synthetic fabric strap, and satin-finished and polished steel buckle.
The Bell & Ross BR 03-92 DIVER ORANGE Watch is available exclusively at Bell & Ross boutiques and e-Boutique for US$3,900.
