The Bell & Ross BR 05 from recent years is starting to grow on me (yes, just only). I attribute this growing love to the various iterations we have seen over the past years. Speaking of which, there is yet another, this time Bell & Ross is exploring the world of cigars.
That’s right. A timepiece that is kind of inspired by the world of cigars. Folks, meet the Bell & Ross BR 05 Chrono Edición Limitada, the third timepiece in the Edición Limitada line. It is a striking timepiece with a brown dial and gold case on a familiar square case with four screws at each corner.
“This attractive chronograph has a strong personality, the scented curls of Havana. Its finish is inspired by the world of Havana cigars. If this watch were a cigar, it would be the famous Robusto Maduro. This precious and decidedly chic launch takes on a colour code of brown, pink and deep red.”
Gold can be found applied tastefully on the bezel and strap links, against a predominantly steel timepiece. It is won’t be “exploring the inspiring world of cigar” without a cigar box, which the watch box is designed to easily turn into if you so desire.
This spectacular precious wood box is adorned with varnished ebony on the outside and cedarwood on the inside. The Bell & Ross logo is embedded in the lid in the form of a cigar ring in gilded steel and 5N gold.
The Bell & Ross BR 05 Chrono Edición Limitada Watch is available with a brown rubber strap (US$8,600) and a gold and steel bracelet (US$13,000). Each version has a limited run of just 250 pieces.
