Calling fans of Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy and movie poster collectors. Vice Press is releasing a very special limited edition, 24×36 inch (about 61×91 cm) version of Drew Struzan’s artwork for Hellboy II: The Golden Army. This particular work was originally commissioned by filmmaker Guillermo del Toro to promote the movie on its release in 2008.
It was never available to buy but only as a giveaway print at the New York Comic-con in the same year. Thanks to Vice Press, who have partnered with Drew Struzan and under license from Universal Studios, you can now buy this awesome artwork presented in a 24×36 inch highly collectible poster.
Two limited-edition versions will be put up for sale: a regular movie poster edition of 450 in hand-numbered offset lithograph print with a gold hot foil stamped title (£59.99/US$85), and a variant art print edition of 250 in hand-numbered offset lithograph print (£49.99/US$75). Both versions are printed on 300gsm archival paper.
Fans and collectors will be able to pick up both versions of the poster on Thursday, March 31, starting at 6 PM British Summer Time (1 PM Eastern), from Vice-Press.com and Sideshow Art Prints. International collectors will be glad that this particular release does ship worldwide.
