is the ‘serious’ look of a Blackberry device stopping you from picking one up? then you might be interested to know that Blackberry is not all about suit and tie, the new Blackberry Q5 QWERTY Smartphone proves that point. geared towards “youthful fans that are passionate, confident and bold”, the Q5 features both the Canadian firm’s signature QWERTY keyboard and a 3.1″ touchscreen. specifics such as resolution aren’t available, in fact, what goes under the hood is pretty much shrouded at this point. slated to be available this July to select markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America, the new Q5 is powered by Blackberry 10 operating system and features Blackberry Time Shift mode and Story Maker for creating “picture perfect” shots (so it does have camera) and weaving them into a movie, complete with music.

also on the Q5 is the Blackberry Messenger (or BBM) video with screen share functionality, Blackberry Hub where all your messages and social conversations are just a swipe away, and last but not least, users will have access to Blackberry World store. looking at the product image, we will also be expecting it to be a Bluetooth-equipped 4G LTE device. there really aren’t much info beyond what we have laid out here, but if you are keen, do head on down to the BlackBerry Q5 product page to register your interest and be in the know of new updates as and when they are available.
