Paul Yaffe, a renowned custom motorcycle designer, has unveiled his latest creation: a customized BMW R 18 Transcontinental. Known for his award-winning designs, Yaffe has transformed this model into a unique big wheel bagger. He meticulously preserved the BMW essence while incorporating hot rod influences.
Key highlights of this custom bike include a massive 26-inch front wheel, a stretched frame, and a restructured original fairing. Yaffe’s team also crafted a new steel front fender, and chin spoiler, and extended the rear fender to align with the newly designed saddlebags.
Staying true to the classic hot rod style, Yaffe added advanced air suspension and side pipes with a high-flow baffle system and a 3-step muffler for that signature sound. The motorcycle showcases a sleek gloss black finish with a contrasting ochs blood red interior, embodying a blend of elegance and hot rod appeal.
This custom BMW R 18 Transcontinental stands as a testament to Yaffe’s skill in blending traditional motorcycling aesthetics with modern innovation.
