Bose Lifestyle Collection
Bose has revived its iconic Lifestyle name with an all-new home audio lineup. Whether you need a compact wireless speaker, an immersive Dolby Atmos soundbar, or a powerful wireless subwoofer, the new Lifestyle Collection lets you build a system that grows with your home.

Bose has been in the home audio business for over four decades, but if you ask most people what comes to mind, chances are it is the iconic Wave radio or the original Lifestyle home theater systems. Fast forward to 2026, and Bose is bringing back the Lifestyle name. This time, though, there are no bulky AV receivers, tangled speaker wires, or manuals thick enough to qualify as bedtime reading.

Meet the new Bose Lifestyle Collection, a trio consisting of the Lifestyle Ultra Speaker, Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar, and Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer. Whether you simply want better music in the kitchen or a full-blown Dolby Atmos home theater, Bose wants the setup to be as painless as pressing Play.

Bose Lifestyle Ultra Speaker

The smallest member of the family is also the most versatile. Priced at US$299, the Lifestyle Ultra Speaker is compact enough for a bedside table, office desk, or kitchen counter, but Bose insists it sounds much bigger than it looks.

It achieves this using an updated version of the company’s famous Direct/Reflecting technology. Two front-facing drivers and an up-firing driver bounce sound around the room to create a surprisingly spacious soundstage. Bose’s TrueSpatial processing adds a sense of height, while CleanBass and QuietPort technologies squeeze deep bass from a cabinet that really has no business producing that much low end.

The speaker comes in Black, White Smoke, and a limited-edition Driftwood Sand finish featuring a solid white oak base. That special edition will set you back US$299.

Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar

If your television deserves better than its built-in speakers, the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar aims to deliver exactly that.

This marks Bose’s first major soundbar redesign in more than a decade. Behind the elegant exterior are six full-range drivers, a dedicated center tweeter, two up-firing drivers, and Bose’s proprietary PhaseGuide technology, all working together to produce convincing Dolby Atmos audio from a single enclosure.

Even when your movie or TV show is not mixed in Dolby Atmos, TrueSpatial processing fills the room with immersive sound. Dialogue also gets special treatment through AI-powered SpeechClarity, which lets you adjust voice enhancement so you spend less time reaching for the remote every time someone starts whispering.

CustomTune technology also analyzes your room using your smartphone’s microphone and optimizes the sound accordingly.

The Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar is priced at US$1,099.

Bose Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer

No home theater is complete without bass that you can feel in your chest, and that’s where the Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer comes in.

This wireless bass module uses the same CleanBass and QuietPort technologies to deliver deep, controlled low frequencies without muddying everything else. Once paired with the soundbar, it takes over the heavy lifting at the bottom end, allowing the rest of the system to focus on dialogue, music, and effects with greater clarity.

The Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer carries a price tag of US$899.

Mix, Match, and Fill the House

Perhaps the biggest selling point of the Lifestyle Collection is flexibility.

A single speaker is perfect for casual listening. Two speakers create a stereo setup. Add the soundbar for movie nights. Throw in the subwoofer and two additional speakers, and you end up with a 7.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos home theater.

The system is also refreshingly open. Support for Google Cast, Apple AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth, and built-in Alexa means you are not locked into a single ecosystem. Better still, multiroom playback even works with compatible speakers from other brands through Google Home or Apple AirPlay.

Everything is managed through the redesigned Bose app, which guides users through setup before handing over control of volume, EQ, surround levels, and room calibration.

Available from May 15, the new Bose Lifestyle Collection feels like Bose returning to what it has always done best: making impressive sound surprisingly easy to live with. After all, your living room should sound like a home theater, not look like one.
