Love coffee and at the same time, have a thing for timepieces? Well, then this coffee-inspired timepiece, aptly dubbed Brew Watch, is definitely going to tickle your fancy. We know we do. Taking coffee break has absolutely nothing to do with wrist watches, except for the fact that it takes time. But the folks over at New York-based Jonathan Ferrer think it is the moment that counts and what relates to moment? Time and hence, the watch. So you get the relation now, but what is it that really makes the Brew Watch coffee-inspired? Just look at it. It has espresso machine spelled all over it – everything from the brush finished to the subtle inward beveled edges, reminds us of a coffee machine, well, maybe not so explicitly, but you get the idea.
Apart from Bell & Ross, nobody actually nails a square watch design perfectly, well, that’s until Brew comes along. It is not sharply squared; the soft edges of this 44 mm watch gave it a very personal feel, which we think it might be hitting the home run, and the square sub-dial there? It just makes everything even sweeter. Powered by Swiss-made Ronda 3520.D chronograph movement (it’s a quartz movement, though), this handsome timepiece also features anti-reflective sapphire crystal, an all-round stainless steel 316L construction, luminescent hands for time-telling in low light conditions, 22mm black leather strap and is capable of water resistance up to 5 ATM (50 meters).
