Buster Table Light by Chris Martin

What happens when a furniture designer designed a desk lamp? Oh, nothing much, just an uber minimal light that is strangely alluring. Man, we just can’t take our eyes off the Buster Table Light.

Designed by the cofounder of Massproductions, Chris Martin, Buster Table Light is unassuming yet very stylish – two words that should not be in the same sentence but here I am describing it as so.

It features precisely engineered machined levers and ball joints that work in harmony to allow for a range of adjustments. Amazingly, it can tilt as much as 30-degree without falling over:

The lamp has a warm LED light source that puts out 250 lumens and has a color temperature of 3000K. It has a dimming function which you can take advantage of using the soft-touch switch, which also doubles as an on/off switch, on the base plate.

It is worthy to mention that the light weighs 1.6 kilograms (3.5 lbs). I would imagine the bulk of the weight is on the thin base.

If you are interested, you may put in enquire about how to acquire the Buster Table Light by Chris Martin over at the Resident. Oh about that… since Massproductions does not manufacture lighting, Chris decided to let Massproductions’ business associate Resident to product and market the light. Hence, the product website over at Resident.co.nz.
