The norm with tech product launches are through keynotes, press conferences, or in the simplest form, press releases. However, the norm does not apply to rapper and lead member of The Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am.
will.i.am recently kind of ‘reveal’ a pair BUTTONS AIR True Wireless Earbuds by wearing it through out a new J. Balvin and Black Eyed Peas music video, Ritmo.
OK. It is not quite a reveal, reveal, but will.i.am did put it out there and plus, BUTTONS did send out a press release to make sure we noticed that two round buttons stuck to will.i.am’s ears the whole time.
BUTTONS AIR is high fashion meets tech, or something of sort. Whether or not it is high fashion, we do not know, but one thing for sure is, it is a pair of attention grabber. Man, just look at the size of that thing!
Features include automatically open and connect via Bluetooth 5.0, Qualcomm true wireless stereo, supports Qualcomm aptX audio, “upgraded” touch control, dual microphone design, up to 8 hours of battery life, charging further supports over 20 hours of listening, and IPX5 rated construction. Those are we know for now.
BUTTONS AIR True Wireless Earbuds will be available at select retailer across stateside, but as when exactly and how much it will cost, they are to be announced. Meanwhile, you can catch the said music video below.
