Canadian Tire Ice Truck
you know which is the coolest truck on Earth? we bet your ass that the title would go to the Canadian Tire Ice Truck which, as the name implies, is literally the coolest truck because it is made out of 11,000 lbs worth of ice.

you know which is the coolest truck on Earth? we bet your ass that the title would go to the Canadian Tire Ice Truck which, as the name implies, is literally the coolest truck because it is made out of 11,000 lbs (about 5,000 kilograms) worth of ice. you must be thinking, ‘why on Earth would anyone do that?’ well, the answer is simple: because they can, but most importantly, the firm wants to take this opportunity to prove the reliability of the MotoMaster Eliminator Ultra Automotive Battery with AGM Technology in the harsh winter time. the battery was frozen to -40 degrees celsius and used to start up the said Ice Truck. not only did the truck starts, but it managed to move at a very modest average speed of 20 km/h (12 mph) and travelled 1.6 km (about 1 mile).

despite its lack of speed the ice truck is one truck that could still induce you to wet your pants – all thanks to the ice seats (complete with regular seatbelt – not ice belt, though) that would inevitably melt a little due to the heat of your butt. the Ice Truck started its life as a regular truck chassis, complete with the necessary drive train and components that enable it to be self-propelled like any trucks, but instead of a regular steel body, it has a super cool body created from ice blocks, cut, sculpted and put together into the truck you see above, and as you have read, it does actually drive, albeit being a little on the slow side, which totally takes the cool factor off the chart. check out a few interesting clips below to see the truck in action plus a really awesome reverse-melt video.

p.s. you do know that this is not for sale, right?
