Using sonar to locate fishes is not new. But water-based drone maker, Chasing is taking it even further with its Chasing F1 Fish Finder Drone/Wireless Underwater Fishing Camera.

It is not an underwater drone, though. It is a semi-submerged drone equipped with a depth adjustable (up to 28 meters) underwater fishing camera that lets you observe what’s in the water.

The camera is a FHD item with infrared night vision. Footage is recorded onto a microSD card that supports up to 256 GB.

With built-in telecommunication and power supply interfaces and accessory mount, the drone can support a range of accessories, including sonar ball and bait boat.

With Chasing F1, you can record fishing spots, detect distribution of fish schools and even the species in real-time, live stream or record the fishing process, and of course, just enjoy the underwater scenery without getting wet.

The floating depth can be adjust based on the returned depth readings and thanks to the 4 vectored thrusters, it can maneuver any direction. Both drone and the camera module are controlled via a dedicated app installed on your smartphone.

Onboard GPS, allows the drone to maintain its position and supports tracking, multiple fishing spots recording, automatic cruise between fishing locations, and one-key return function.

It comes outfitted with a swappable 4,800 mAh battery good for up to 6 hours on a single charge and it has a wireless range of 30 meters.
