The 80s has offered some of the most iconic vehicles, including the van from A-Team, Bell 222 made famous by the series Airwolf, and of course, the AI car, K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider.
Speaking of K.I.T.T., you will now have a chance to pick up the original AI car from the series. But not just a replica or movie vehicle; it is personal Knight Rider K.I.T.T. of the series lead actor, David Hasselhoff.
The car has been put under the hammer at The Hoff Auction – David Hasselhoff by LiveAuctioneers. Little is known about the car, though. According to the lot listing on LiveAuctioneers, this is a fully functional K.I.T.T. car “with full conversion car” and it is located in U.K.
The vehicle is expected to fetch between US$175,000 and US$300,000. However, at the time of this post, it has well over the estimate, at US$450,000 with 7 bids behind it.
If the final sale price exceeds 25% above the reserve price, the Hoff man will personally deliver the car to the new owner. Excellent opportunity for winning fan to meet the legend himself.
