Citizen Official Captain Marvel Wrist Watches

Citizen’s New Captain Marvel Timepieces Are Just Way To Subtle

Japanese watch maker, Citizen, is no stranger to turning out Marvel-themed timepieces. It already have a bunch of them under its belt and earlier this month, the vast collection of Marvel-related watches grew to include three pieces of Captain Marvel watches (FE7062-51W, FE6101-05W and EM0596-58W). And boy, were they a little too subtle.

Seriously, you won’t be able to tell at a glance any of the trio is actually Captain Marvel. In fact, if you ask me, all three watches do have a 90s design vibe to it. Anywho… like I have said, the Captain Marvel design cues are too subtle. Definitely not as pronounced as the company’s Captain America, Spider-Man, The Hulk and Avengers models.

“The novelty Captain Marvel assortment offers three distinct designs reminiscent of Captain Marvel’s iconic suit, featuring star detailing and gold piping. One model is presented with a silver dial and navy silicone strap embellished with gold and red accents on the hand and markers. Complete with the Captain Marvel emblem on the dial, the timepiece is available for $275. Another model is presented with a rich navy dial featuring a transparent star print pattern and Captain Marvel’s classic gold logo star in the center. Featured on a gold-tone mesh bracelet, this timepiece is available for $350 $375. The third model is offered on a stainless-steel bracelet with navy dial and the iconic gold logo star detailing for $350 as well. All timepieces are finished with the bold Captain Marvel logo on the case back.”

Key features of the individual pieces are as follows:

Citizen Captain Marvel FE7062-51W:

I’d say the highlight would be the case back engraved with Captain Marvel’s logo and emblem. But damn, the 90s vibe is pretty strong in these watches. The Citizen Official Captain Marvel Wrist Watches, along with the aforementioned Marvel-themed timepieces, are available on Citizen website with the prices as listed in the quote above. There are a pair of Black Panther-themed timepieces too, but those were as equally subtle, but looks pretty dope nonetheless. But if you ask me, I would say Captain America one is the best of the lot.
