It’s the big 50 for Hello Kitty this year and so folks, brace yourself for a barrage of Hello Kitty merchandise and collaborative products this year. In fact, the celebration started even before the turn of the year with Undone timepieces, authentic Scottish-certified original tartan Hello Kitty dress, and more. And the latest to join this celebratory bandwagon is Crocs.
Crocs, the global leader in innovative casual footwear, has teamed up with Sanrio to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the beloved character Hello Kitty. The collaboration brings three new footwear designs, each featuring the iconic red and blue colors associated with Hello Kitty.
The lineup includes the latest Stomp Slide model, embellished with glitter and an oversized ribbon Jibbitz, adding a touch of femininity to the Hello Kitty-inspired red color. Stomp Slide has a heel height of 6.9 cm/2.7-inch. It sells for $79.99. The Siren Clog, standing at about 9.9 cm/3.6 inches in heel height, showcases a main blue accent and comes with 3D Hello Kitty Jibbitz for a playful touch. The Siren Clog can be had for $99.99.
The collection also features the Classic Clog in unisex, kids, and toddler sizes, allowing everyone to join in the 50th-anniversary celebration of Hello Kitty. The Classic Hello Kitty Clog is available in sizes ranging from 22cm to 30cm, priced at $69.99, with kids’ and toddlers’ sizes offered at $54.99 and $49.99, respectively. There is also a pair of Hello Kitty and Friends Classic Clog for Toddlers going for US$44.99. A collection of Hello Kitty Jibbitz is also available to jazz up your Kitty kicks for $4.99-$24.99.
