Cup Noodle x Columbia Bean Road Omniheat Infinity Blanket Shell

Are you a big fan of Nissin Foods’ Cup Noodles? If you yes, then I’d imagine you dig a cup of hot instant noodles during the cold wintertime when camping outdoors. If yes, this product from an unlikely collaboration between Cup Noodle and Columbia Sportswear Japan will be right up your alley.

Cup Noodle x Columbia Bean Road Omniheat Infinity Blanket Shell

It is a poncho of sorts called Bean Road Omniheat Infinity Blanket Shell that will keep your upper body nice and warm as you slurp up the hot curly noodles in the cold outdoors. The product features Columbia’s reflective heat storage function dubbed Omniheat Infinity in the lining that traps the heat generated by your body, thereby keeping the wearer nice and toasty. OK. Maybe not toasty but you get the idea.

It offers a few ways to use/wear. You can wear it like a poncho, a cape, or an apron, or just use it to cover your legs like a blanket when seated. Cup Noodle’s presence is cleverly integrated into a floral variant of Columbia’s real tree Timberwolf camo, along with a subtle Cup Noodle stitched on the blanket. Along with the product is a team campaign “Eat Outside” which aims to create a comfortable outdoor life.

The blanket/poncho has an outer made of 65% polyester, and 35% cotton and a lining featuring 100% polyester and 100% polyester insulation.

The Cup Noodle x Columbia Bean Road Omniheat Infinity Blanket Shell was launched in January for 17,600 yen (about US$124) in Japan. Unfortunately, it appears to be sold out by now. Oops. Sorry. We should have posted earlier but it slipped. But hey, it is worth noting it existed.
