Dyson’s bladeless desk fan is back, and this time, it is smarter. The Dyson Cool CF1 Fan revisits the company’s original 2009 design and updates it with modern touches like Night Mode, an LCD, and a more efficient brushless DC motor.
It still uses Dyson’s patented Air Multiplier technology, pushing up to 370 liters of air per second and amplifying surrounding airflow by as much as 13× for a smoother, uninterrupted breeze. The CF1 runs quietly too, dropping to just 18.5 dB at its lowest setting, making it suitable for bedside use. Oscillation can be set at 0, 15, 40, or 70 degrees, alongside 10 airflow levels for finer control.
At just 1.8 kg (4.0 lb) and measuring 550 mm (21.7 in.) tall, it is compact enough for desks or small rooms, while still doubling as an air circulator when paired with air conditioning.
It has been launched in several countries, including the U.K. (£199), Singapore (S$349), Japan (37,400 yen), and more.
