Barely two months since Dyson launched the Dyson V8 Slim, the lightweight version of its V8 cordless stick vacuum, it has announced yet another lightweight cordless vacuum called, well, Dyson Digital Slim.
We believe this Digital Slim was announced with the V8 Slim, but only in Japan at that time. Anywho… with the Dyson Digital Slim Cordless Stick Vacuum, it is lighter by 250g (8.82 ounces) than the already lightweight V8 Slim.
At just 1.9 kilograms (or 4.19 lbs), the Digital Slim not only is lighter, but is also 15 percent shorter and 6.3 mm thinner than the V11 series while retaining a vacuum duration of up to 40 minutes. As before, this cordless stick vacuum on diet has its sight set on Asian markets.
The new Digital Slim maybe lighter and smaller overall, it does not sacrifice on performance. Powerful suction is made possible by the new Dyson Hyperdymium motor, along with a redesigned cleaner head that is 40% lighter. The main cleaning head is smaller too, for reaching in smaller spaces common in Asian homes.
Other notables include improved dirt execution, ease of cleaning of the appliance, an LCD screen to display the device’s status, and the battery is now removable. The latter means you can pick up a second battery for an (almost) uninterrupted extended vacuuming.
