This is going to put a big smile on any Iron Man’s fans: a levitating Iron Man toy that simulates the metal-suited superhero flying. Finally, right? I mean all this while, what we have been getting are pretty much down-to-earth stuff and if you want it ‘flying’, your best bet would be the transparent display stand that sometimes come supplied with the action figures. But not this particular toy here. Dubbed Egg Attack Action Iron Man 3 Mk-II Magnetic Floating Version, this thing here really ‘flies’, well, I mean float – thanks to the combination of attracting and repulsing magnets. Note: we said ‘repulsing’ not repulsor. If you don’t already know, Egg Attack is a series by toy maker Beast Kingdom that makes cartoonized version of pop culture icons, such as Iron Man, Transformers and more, and hence the extra large head, which you might have already noticed.
You won’t find Robert Downing Jr.’s head sculpt under that mask, though. You will, however, find the switch to the lighted eyes beneath that removable mask. In addition to lighted eyes, this adorable floating Iron Man also features light-up arc reactor, as well as repulsor on his feet and hands. Logic. Without those, how else would he fly, right? Light show aside, you can also expect meticulously crafted armor, joints, flying mode air deflector and a high-quality metal coating, true to the Mk-II suit as depicted in the movie. Of course, Stark’s metal hero don’t have such a big head, well, at least not in the literal sense, but that kind makes the Egg Attack series so adorable.
