So, what exactly is a CoreXY FDM 3D Printer? Well, it is a type of 3D printer that uses the Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) process and a unique CoreXY design to move the print head. And it is very fast.
With a print volume that’s big enough for your overambitious DIY dreams (256 x 256 x 256 mm or 10.1 inches cubed), the Centauri Carbon is ready to spit out smartphone stands or carbon-fiber miniatures with a speed that might make your microwave jealous — up to 500 mm/s.
It’s all wrapped up in a sleek, enclosed design, presumably so your dog doesn’t mistake it for some interactive chew toy. And because Elegoo knows you’re busy being a creative genius (or just easily annoyed), there’s one-click bed leveling — no more playing the calibration guessing game.
Oh, and it’s got built-in LEDs. Why? Probably because watching your print glow like it’s headlining a nightclub is objectively awesome.
