There’s probably no need for you to know Radical Motorsport unless you’re casually in the market for a race car for your racing team (which you probably are not). I featured this because Radical, the world-renowned British race car manufacturer, just hit a milestone — the 3,000th car off their production line. OK. I lied. That’s not the only reason. It is also because the 3000th car is a stunning bronze-clad SR3 that looks too dope it’d be a crime not to talk about it.

Anyhoo, to celebrate the occasion, Radical didn’t just slap a “Congrats, Us!” sticker on the windshield. The 3,000th SR3 sports a custom bronze powder-coated chassis, matching bronze wheels, and decals that practically scream winner. The lucky recipient? Long-time Radical Cup UK racer John Hewitt, who probably knows a thing or two about speed and bragging rights.
Founded back in 1997, Radical’s been making high-performance track cars for enthusiasts and pros alike — think less Sunday cruise and more Saturday pole position. With 14 single-make Radical Cup championships and a presence in over 20 countries, they’ve made a name by delivering adrenaline on four wheels.
Chief Commercial Officer Dan Redpath summed it up nicely: “It’s a proud moment for Radical and our fans.” Translation? We make fast cars, and people love it.
Happy 28th anniversary, Radical. Here’s to the next 3,000… though maybe don’t go bronze every time.
